How it works

From the crash to the keys, then off your plate

Four public stages, and the operational detail behind them, so you know exactly what we do and what we need from you.

01

Apply

Answer three questions online or call us. We take your accident details, your car, the other driver and any witnesses.

02

Approve

We assess non-fault status and recoverability. Where the details stack up and a car is available, we aim for same-day approval.

03

Deliver

We deliver to your home, work or repairer and collect it the same way when your repairs finish or your total loss settles.

04

Finalise

We invoice the at-fault insurer and pursue recovery of the hire charges. You keep us updated and cooperate if it is disputed.

The detail

What actually happens, step by step

  1. 1. Apply or call

Have as much as you can ready: your details, your car, the other driver's name, phone or registration, a description of what happened and any witnesses. Missing pieces are not a dealbreaker — we chase what we can.

  2. 2. We assess non-fault status

A person reviews the accident, the other party's details and whether the hire cost is realistically recoverable from their insurer. If it is marginal, we tell you before you commit to anything.

  3. 3. Paperwork before delivery

You receive a Rental Agreement and a Mandate and Authority to Act. Both must be signed before a car leaves us. Read them, ask questions, then sign.

  4. 4. Delivery, usually same day

Where you are approved, a suitable vehicle is available and your car is off the road, we aim to deliver the same day in Brisbane and South East Queensland. We bring it to your home, work or repairer.

  5. 5. You keep us updated

Tell us when the repairer books you in, when the work finishes, or when the insurer settles your total loss. That is what keeps the hire period defensible.

  6. 6. Collection

When your car is back or your settlement is paid, we collect from your home, work or repairer. No need to drop anything off.

  7. 7. Recovery from the at-fault insurer

We invoice the at-fault insurer for the hire charges and pursue the claim. If it is disputed, we may need a statement or evidence from you, and recovery action can be issued in your name.

There is no instant online approval. Every application is assessed by a person, because fault, recoverability and availability all have to line up before we hand over a car.
